Welcome to the website for Paradigm Research LLC. I hope this is just the beginning of something that will grow. My purpose in creating this company is to develop a couple existing ideas that are in the patent process and to pursue other long term research interests relative to artificial intelligence and enhanced natural intelligence.
Underwater Oil Spill Containment
The project that I can talk about is underwater oil spill containment using an induced vortex. Two US patents have been issued and I am seeking industry partners with whom to develop this technology. I have tested it on an open loop bench scale with tap water to drive the vortex and vegetable oil for the fluid to be contained. It worked as I expected it would, with an induced rotation looking very much like a tornado funnel coming out of the vortex chamber and drawing all of the oil into the chamber and passing it out of the axial outlet to the recovery destination. It essentially created a virtual pipe that connected the low density (oil) source to the axial inlet of the vortex chamber. I have uploaded several videos on my YouTube channel. Several videos of a bench scale demonstration of the vortex containment method are now available on YouTube.
Male Incontinence System
A US Patent Application has been filed on a system for male incontinence control. This project is currently confidential pending consideration for foreign patent filings.
Partnering
It is my intent to develop Paradigm Research LLC in a way that involves both partnering with Companies who have a vested interest in what we are developing, and with individuals who's interests align with my own. I anticipate that this partnering would take the form of shared ownership of the technology involved.
